LATEST NEWS! THE GRANDMA IS ALIVE, LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL

This morning at 07:23 London time (an hour later in her beloved Andorra), Scotland Yard rescue teams have located The Grandma on an excavator on the banks of the Thames.

Still a little tired and soaked, the woman's first words have been: where the hell are my dentures?

In a few hours, she will meet her family, The Morgans, and they will continue their visit to London, a city that has lived her disappearance with great anguish.

The Grandma has been taken to a medical centre to assess her health. Doctors say she is still in shock as she claims a very attractive sailor, with messy hair and brightly coloured pants and jacket helped her into the excavator while singing:

We are sailing, we are sailing
Home again 'cross the sea
We are sailing stormy waters
To be near you, to be free
Oh Lord, to be near you, to be free
Oh My Lord, to be near you, to be free

Doctors believe that The Grandma has suffered a mystical experience typical of people who are in serious danger and they have recommended rest and tranquility while she kept shouting that the show must go on.

During these hours of uncertainty, The Morgans moved to Bath in Somerset, to seek peace and relaxation amidst so much suffering.

With virtually no recovery time, The Grandma has wanted to be with The Morgans and continue her English training.

So, she has moved to Bath, where all together have worked on the Article The, Prepositions of Place and Movement, and have read and shared stories about great scientists like Manel Esteller.

Finally, they have talked about the Saxon Genitive and how different cultural communities have created their identity over the centuries, with an element as important as the surname.

THE BEANS, A NEW FAMILY AND NEW OBJECTIVES

The Grandma in the Roman Thermes, Sant Boi
The Grandma has a new family. Today, she has met The Beans a funny group of people who have lots of things in common although they don't know it.

It has been an intensive day because MJ has arrived with tones of burocratic documents to sign and after, The Grandma has tried to introduce herself to the new members of her family but she wasn't in her best moment today because an enormous cold is affecting her seriously.

First day of a meeting is a good chance to discover how the new members are, what kind of things you can wait for them and what's more or less their level of English. It has been a good experience and The Grandma trusts on them to start a beautiful and unforgettable travel around the world where the first stop is the USA.

Today, they have been talking about the importance of our ancestors and our historic past to understand our present and our societies and how many things you can explain with your name, your surnames or the toponimic names.

They have also talked about the order of the adds in a sentence and about which kind of information you need to create a profile. Every member of the family has known her/his new role in it, her/his job and her/his nationality.

Finally, they have been playing a little with some passwords and some games about Who is s/he?

Tomorrow, the family is going to study the order of the adjectives and the imperatives because they must start to prepare two important goals: the new travel to the USA and Santa Claus's letter. Xmas is coming...

THE BONDS, A NEW HOPE...

The shield of Bond
This morning, The Grandma has met her new family: The Bonds

After MJ, the Bonds' boss, had given all the burocratic orders, they've started to organize the family, the jobs and their nationalities without Irene who is in a secret mission.

A nationality is something very interesting because offers to you a community, a culture and some manners but nothing more significant that your surname.

Every surname is a full demonstration of culture, origins and history. Then, we've been talking about the Saxon Genitive and the order of adjectives.

The Bonds are sixteen different people with different needs but now they're sharing the same objective. After practising some definitions and revising the international ABC, they've decided to travel to Berlin to spend this Xmas holidays. Tomorrow, they'll prepare the travel.

This afternoon, The Grandma has received some terrible news. Princess Leia Organa has decided to travel far away our Galaxy. We'll miss her a lot because Leia Organa is an icon of our childhood and Carrie Fisher has been a great example of dignity and a great support to people who suffer some kind of mental disorder.

May the force be with you, dear Carrie!

NEW FAMILY, NEW ADVENTURES

Matryoshka dolls
Today, The Grandma has met The Poppins, her new family. It has been a beautiful an intensive day for this new family.

After listening to all the explanations of MJ very carefully, the family has started to introduce itself and every member has adopted her new role: nationality and job.

It seemed that it was a normal day until the family has received her first, but not the last, incredible information: M.Carmen Poppins is kidnapped in a prison in Siberia.

Tomorrow, the family will work together to rescue her because they have another objective: travel to Brazil to help Isa Addams-Poppins in her Olympic Games training and to Scotland to visit Núria’s hometown.

Without a lot of time to do nothing, they’ve talked about the order of MPT in a sentence and about how to start to write a composition paying attention to the most important information: Who? When? Where? and What?

So you set out to travel to Rome and end up in Istanbul.
You set off for Japan and you end up on a train across Siberia.
The journey, not the destination, becomes a source of wonder.
