Today, The Bonds are practising some Social English and some grammar like Prepositions of Place and Direction, Zero and First Conditionals and Modal Verbs (Must).

They are working together to demonstrate Juanjo and Irene Bond's innocence and they are creating little guides about the most important places of New York City.

The Grandma is talking about some universal painters like Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Francisco de Goya and their influence while the whole family is visiting The Metropolitan Museum. She's a fan of Joan Miró although her favourite painting is The Pantocrator of Sant Climent de Taüll in La Vall de Boí, a part of the Romanesque art inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000 and which is now exposed in the MNAC in Barcelona.

This afternoon, The Addams Family has just arrived to New York City. At local time 17:16 (23:16 in Sant Boi de Llobregat), the family has gone to rest in The Plaza Hotel when The Grandma has reserved a whole floor for them.They haven’t left their English lessons and have reviewed in the plane some aspects of Present Continuous, Present Simple, Articles and Jobs.

Tomorrow, they’re visiting the city by public transport (subway and bus) and buying some presents for friends and for Marta, who they don’t forget. If there’s enough time, they will write some postcards for her.

The Grandma has been preparing some guides for the travel: one about New York City and another about The Metropolitan Museum and she has a big interest in watching some matches: one of baseball with the New York Yankees (she admires Derek Jeter) and another of basketball with the New York Knicks (she loved Pat Ewing, when he played).
