Yesterday, we reviewed plural of nouns and how
to write a formal letter and we created new passwords for playing during the
course. We played Guess the word and
we bought lots of presents to Belén.
We also continued The Secret of Oldstone’s
reading and we talked about what to do next week. We have a great plan: visiting
the Greek Islands by cruise.
TheGrandma had to return to Barcelone to
attend some business (she has invested in a new cooking enterprise in Seattle,
US) but the rest of the family continues in Adriana’s home in Rhodes.
On Monday,
Adriana is going to guide her family by this fantastic island, mixed of cultures:
Latin, Greek and Turkish.
Belén, our journalist, who was
working in Vatican CityState as The Pope’s correspondent has been dismissed. We
don’t know what has happened although some people say that the Pope discovered
Belén watching The Da Vinci’s Code and he became angry. We must confirm our
sources. In these difficult moments all the family is with her and she has got all
our support. Belén has decided to spend a few days in Rome, Italy, where she lives
nowadays, and return to Barcelone next week.
Please, Belén, contact us when
you return because we’ll send Dámaris, our expert in picking people up from the
airport, and don’t forget to check your Vespa in. It will be very useful for
driving around Sant Boi and remember: he's the Pope but you're our princess!
Have a nice evening!
Arriverderci, Roma
Goodbye, goodbye to Rome
City of a million moon lit faces
City of a million warm embraces
Where I found the one of all the faces
Far from home
Hi! I'm the Grandma. I'm an old woman who lives in Sant Boi, a middle-size city next to the Llobregat river, near Barcelone. I was born in Andorra 90 years ago and I've worked very hard in different places until I won the lottery and I became a new rich but I was alone and I felt sad. One day, I decided to invest in a new business: I was going to buy a family for fighting against my loneliness. I did it. This logbook will explain you the adventures of The Grandma Family for the next three months. We start!
