GUARDS OF AZKABAN PRISON
Dementors are dark creatures that thrive in despair and drain hope and happiness out of the air around them. A Dementor's kiss, if long enough, will suck the soul from your body.

ARGUS FILCH
CARETAKER AT HOGWARTS
Argus Filch enjoys enforcing the rules at Hogwarts and catching students out of line -mentioning at one point that he misses the dungeons the school used to incorporate in its discipline. He joins Dolores Umbridge's inquisitorial squad during Harry's fifth year to bring about the demise of Dumbledore's Army.

QUIRINUS QUIRRELL
DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS
PROFESSOR AT HOGWARTS DURING HARRY'S FIRST YEAR
The body of this seemingly unassuming man with a pronounced stutter is used by Lord Voldemort as he tries to steal the Sorcerer's Stone from Hogwarts.

DRACO MALFOY
DEATH EATER
Draco Malfoy is Harry's archenemy at Hogwarts from their first day at the school. His eventual involvement with Lord Voldemort brings his battle with Harry to a bloody climax during their sixth year -and his actions on behalf of the dark Lord alter Hogwarts forever.

BELLATRIX LESTRANGE
DEATH EATER
One of Voldemort's most loyal supporters, Bellatrix Lestrange drove Neville Longbottom's parents to insanity with the Cruciatus Curse during the Dark Lord's first rise to power, and upon her escape from Azkaban, murders her cousin Sirius Black in the battle at the Ministry of Magic.

LUCIUS MALFOY
DEATH EATER
Lucius Malfoy is Draco's father, and a supporter of Voldemort. He places Tom Riddle's diary in Ginny Weasley cauldron at Flourish and Blotts just before Harry's second year at Hogwarts, eventually causing the release of the basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets and nearly killing several students.

LORD VOLDEMORT
THE DARK LORD
Known as "He Who Must Not Be Named" and "You-Know-Who" to many who fear to speak his name aloud, Voldemort is considered the most evil wizard of all time. His thirst for power and for a pureblood wizard race has resulted in the deaths of countless witches and wizards -including Harry's parents, James and Lily Potter.

DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS
PROFESSOR AT HOGWARTS DURING HARRY'S FOURTH YEAR
Behind her sickly sweet smile and demeanour, Dolores Umbridge is a vile witch who risks the lives of her students at Hogwarts by refusing to teach them defensive magic. Her sadistic nature is evidenced by her use of s "special" quill for student punishments; it carves lines into the back of the writer's hand, and writes with their blood.
